should hs require students to read the classics
In my opinion I feel that high school students should read the "classics" but it shouldn't be required. I feel they should because classic stories have a bigger moral and they provide more of a lesson. Also you get more of an understanding or u can learn some things about how things were before we were born and the type of stories they made in that time. In the text it say's " The study of classical literature texts, like the list mediabookbub say's we should replace but which may be on of the best ways to understand what it means to be human, can be encouraged by reading excerpts aloud, followed by a civil conversation".
